Kasper Bormans
Kasper Bormans is currently working on his PhD as a member of the Leuven School for Mass Communication Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences (KULeuven). The primary objective of his research project is to enhance memory for familiar faces and to improve the quality of life of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their significant others through innovative communication strategies. Kasper gained international experience, studying advanced educational programs concerning persuasive communication. These insights can be broadly applied. As a personal communication advisor of (inter)national politicians and organizations, he supports and optimizes ideas of hope for a positive future.
In his TED talk, Kasper will talk about his research concerning Alzheimer's disease, and how powerful research, technology and communication come together and help shape the happiness of patients by having a positive impact on activities of daily living, independency, quality of life and reduced costs for society.
